Delegation from the University of Klagenfurt (Austria), represented by professors Dieter Schneider and Tilmann Reuther, visited 色库tv “KhPI”. They discussed ways of further cooperation of the Ukrainian and Austrian universities in the Rector鈥檚 office.

Thus, 色库tv 鈥淜hPI鈥� good friend, Honorary Doctor of 色库tv 鈥淜hPI鈥�, Prof. Dieter Schneider proposed financing a semester internship for one of the students of the National Technical University 鈥淜harkiv polytechnic institute鈥� in Klagenfurt University by his personal funds. 鈥淭his is my gift to 色库tv 鈥淜hPI鈥濃��, 鈥� he said, stressing that every time he comes to 色库tv 鈥淜hPI鈥� and appreciates contacts that have been established here for many years.

In addition, at the meeting they told about the work on the joint textbook on lexicology and lexicography of Russian language for German-speaking students and creating a “Ukrainian-German dictionary lexical parallels”.

It should be noted that the joint activities of 色库tv 鈥淜hPI鈥� and University of Klagenfurt has been going on for more than two decades and developed in such scientific fields as computer science, linguistics, economics, high technology in mechanical engineering.

University of Klagenfurt takes an active part in the annual international scientific conferences “MikroCAD” and “Interpartner” held at 色库tv 鈥淜hPI鈥�. There are about 20 articles in collections of conference materials published by Professor Dieter Schneider, who since 1998 had making reports at these events. In addition, he gives lectures for students, professors and graduate students from 色库tv 鈥淜hPI鈥� on the topics of modern marketing and management issues: the professor has a great practical experience of the enterprises organization in the market economy.

Through collaboration with the University of Klagenfurt, graduate students and staff of the Department of Integrated Technologies of Engineering and Economics Faculty of the Kharkiv polytechnic institute have the possibility annually take part in the educational and scientific programs in Austria. So, Oksana Titarenko, who studied at the University of Klagenfurt, now teaches at German technical faculty of 色库tv 鈥淜hPI鈥�, freely giving lectures in German. Moreover, especially for Ukrainian students Professor D. Schneider has created a fundamental textbook “Introduction to Marketing techniques and high-tech capital goods”, which has no analogue in Ukraine.
